Strategy: This is a qualifying-type section for most. Solve comprehension passages accurately. Language pedagogy questions are similar across Language I and II — study once, score in both.

Content areas: geometry, shapes & spatial understanding, numbers, addition-subtraction-multiplication-division, measurement, weight, time, volume, data handling, patterns, money. Pedagogy: nature of math, community math, evaluation.

Strategy: Focus on Class 1–5 level mathematics concepts and their pedagogical approaches. How to teach a topic is as important as knowing the topic. Target 26+/30.

Family & friends, food, shelter, water, travel, things we make and do. Pedagogical issues: concept and scope of EVS, significance of EVS, integrated EVS, environmental education, learning principles, activities, experimentation.

Strategy: EVS questions are largely concept-based and easy for most candidates. Focus on pedagogical aspects: inquiry-based learning, activity approach, field visits. Target 26+/30.
