Frequently Asked Questions

Which section is most important in RRB Group D 2026?
General Intelligence & Reasoning has 30 questions — highest in the paper. It is also the fastest to improve with practice. Science is uniquely difficult (25Q) and differentiates toppers from average scorers. Focus Science + Reasoning for maximum ROI.
How much time should I give to Science for Group D?
Science takes 40–50% of your study time in weeks 1–2. It is the most feared section and competitors are weakest here. Class 10 NCERT Physics (Ch 8–13), Chemistry (Ch 1–5) and Biology (Ch 1–6) covers 95% of what RRB asks.
Can I clear Group D without coaching?
Yes. RRB Group D Stage 1 is designed for 10th pass students. Class 10 NCERT (Science + Maths) + daily reasoning practice + current affairs is the complete preparation. Coaching is not required if you practice consistently for 30–45 days.
How many mocks should I attempt before the exam?
At least 15–20 full mocks (100Q, 90 min) in the final 4 weeks. One mock daily in the last 10 days. Mock analysis — reviewing wrong answers — is more important than the mock count.
